We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, analyze data, and provide key insights to support strategic decisions, with additional light office management duties to foster smooth daily operations in our creative agency environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Provide relevant financial information and insights to the owner to support strategic decision-making.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial health of the agency.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Master the software used within the agency to manage financial information.
10% of time will be light office management including receptionist duties, answering phone, stocking supplies, shipping packages.
Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
Strong knowledge and training of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Excel).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
